What are the CotY Awards? This local competition seeks to engage all NARI members and acknowledges the high quality of work being done right here on Long Island. The judging is focused on innovation, craftsmanship and the overall quality of work, allowing you to share the best of what you do with our peer community of professionals. The measure of success is yours to achieve because unlike the National program, you are not compared against other applicants but judged solely on the merits of your own work.

What qualifies as an entry? Many of the pieces to a successful entry may already be part of your marketing efforts like photos of your own customer projects. Specifically if you already share your work on social media or your website, the rest is basically telling the story behind the project. There are a wide variety of categories to choose from that help the judges understand the scope of your entry.

Why enter this year? This is the year when it couldn’t be easier for you to submit a project for consideration. The new online entry process is easy to navigate, is complete with easy to understand instructions and offers you the opportunity to construct an entry that isn’t complete until you say so. Only then, when you decide to submit, is there an entry fee. There is absolutely no risk and to help understand what to do, here is a short instructional video to help you get started.
